It’s All In The Details

Lets face it, it is very trendy to have a vintage inspired wedding these days, especially Deco style! But there is one thing that all those other Gatsby themed weddings won’t have: YOU! It is in the little details that make you so unique and here at The English Dept. are all about celebrating individuality on your big day.

A great way to get a certain “look” while still showcasing your personality is through accessorizing. We recently brought in a number of new Nicole Miller dresses into the shop for this very reason. We love her clean lines, ultra feminine silhouettes, and not to mention her amazing prices! We feel they are the perfect blank canvases for a modern gal with vintage dreams. Here are a few of our new Nicole Miller dresses paired with our favorite vintage inspired accessories:

We know the task of accessorizing can be quite daunting, but that why we are here to help. Come by and have one of our expert stylists help you find that perfect look that is all your own!

I mean really, should a wedding represent a decade, movie, or the unique love between two very lucky individuals? We think we know your answer and couldn’t agree more!

Warmth, Love, Spice, & Everything Nice

Emily and Justin’s Autumn wedding was everything an Autumn wedding could be! We love the rustic decor and relaxed/intimate vibe. Surrounded by loved ones and the crisp air, we can see just from the photos that it was a night to for E&J to look back in warmth for many years to come.  Emily looked classic and stunningly feminine in her silk & lace Nicole Miller gown which she picked out at The English Dept..
