Priscilla wears Ivy & Aster’s “In Bloom”

Photography by Kaitlin Emmerling

Priscilla chose “In Bloom” at last year’s Ivy & Aster trunk show.  I remember how excited she was to put on the dress when it arrived at the store a few months later–it was stunning on her.  Then I saw pictures of the wedding and wow!  Gorgeous dress for a gorgeous bride.  Congratulations, to the happy (and lovely) couple!

Stephanie wears “Giselle” at Portland’s Ecotrust

014_Brindle-Kaplan_WPortland bride, Stephanie stood in line for almost an hour at our sample sale to snag Elizabeth Dye’s “Giselle” off the rack.  The bride thought it was well worth the wait and we definitely agree.  “Giselle” looks stunning paired with Stephanie’s bright smile.  She was married September 9th at the Ecotrust building in Portland.  Congratulations to the bride and groom, we were thrilled to have a small roll in such a special day!

Anna in “Lark”

Anna chose Ivy & Aster’s “Lark” this spring for her destination wedding in Italy.  We were so excited to see these beautiful pictures of the stunning bride, her fiance and their dreamy Almalfi Coast wedding.

We are having a love-fest with these beautiful nuptials, which were also featured in Martha Stewart Weddings online.  The bride looks lovely in Elizabeth Dye’s “Oysters & Pearls” amid this lush and natural setting.  For more information and images from the wedding, go check out http://greenweddingshoes.com/handmade-barn-wedding-tara-nick/

Real Weddings: Nicole (Brooklyn, NY) in Elizabeth Dye’s “Honeychurch”

There is nothing more beautiful than a beaming bride.  We love this bride’s megawatt smile… and her Elizabeth Dye gown isn’t too shabby either.

The English Dept. Real Wedding: Laura + Alex

Check out those wildflowers! We are so excited to share pictures of a beautiful English Dept. bride. Laura is seriously stunning in Jenny Yoo’s “Morgan” dress. We are big fans of Jenny Yoo around here, and are excited about some recent Jenny Yoo newcomers to the shop. This adorable wedding was photographed by one of our Portland favorites, Rebekah Johnson, and was featured today on Style Me Pretty.

Real Weddings: Emily at Edgefield

We’re so excited to share these drop-dead gorgeous photos of Emily’s wedding at McMenamins Edgefield. She chose this dramatically draped off-the-shoulder Nicole Miller gown, which led her gracefully from the ceremony to a romantic reception dance. Emily, we’re breathless. What a beautiful wedding.

English Dept. weddings: Maggie in “Dylan”

We love a bride who marches to her own drummer, and Maggie found her rhythm with “Dylan,” a vivid one-shoulder silk dress from Jenny Yoo. As Maggie puts it:

Thank you so much for helping me pick out the perfect, unique wedding dress that truly fit my personality.  I loved it, my family loved it, and my guests can’t stop talking about it.”

Maggie, it was our pleasure.
